Hi, I’m Sara, a floral artist from Thailand, based in Edinburgh, Scotland.
 

Born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand, I come from a Thai-Chinese heritage, which has deeply influenced my creative style and artistic expression. My floral designs are based on my unique approach and seasonal inspiration, arranged in Korean floral arrangements.

The Floral Reef is my floral design studio, originally founded in Bangkok, Thailand. It showcases my floral artistry, including hand-tied bouquets, floral arrangements in vases, and floral installations, both fresh and dried flowers.

I take inspiration from coral reefs, which display a stunning array of colours and organic forms. Some are vivid and vibrant, while others are subtle and monochromatic, an idea reflected in my floral arrangements. I carefully select flowers, stems, and foliage that echo the natural shapes and hues found in nature, creating bouquets that are both distinctive and elegant.

My passion lies in creating memorable moments and meaningful atmospheres for life’s special occasions. Whether it’s a celebration, a gesture of love, or a message of encouragement, flowers have the power to convey deep emotions and leave a lasting impression.

I am also committed to reducing waste and minimising plastic use in my designs.
